  DÚO "CIMOSZKO-ESPÍ" 

 

 

 

Dúo de flauta y guitarra centrado en el repertorio español  de  obras originales y arreglos para esta formación. Su estreno se produjo en 2006, un concierto en la Escuela de Música Mózart de Bruselas donde interpretaron obras de Granados, Albéniz, Falla y Turina.

GRZEGORZ CIMOSZKO

 

Grzegorz Cimoszko started his musical education as a small boy. In 1979 he graduated from the Higher State School of Music in Warsaw where he studied the flute. He then polished his skills with Jean-Pierre Rampal in Paris and Julius Baker in New York. Between 1981 and 1986 he was a principal flutist of the National Philharmonic in Warsaw. He was also a member of the Warsaw “Da Camera” Wind Quintet, with which he made numerous recordings, including first performances of works by contemporary Polish composers. He also performed with the Polish Chamber Orchestra and the Camerata Vistula Chamber Ensemble. For many years he also taught the flute at the Frederic Chopin Music Academy in Warsaw.

 

As a soloist he performs regularly in Poland, France, Belgium, Japan and the United States. His discography includes two CD’s for the Japanese Pony Canyon Classic label (Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons Op. 8 and the Flute Concertos op.10), two CD’s for DUX (Poland) with music for flute alone (J.S.Bach, C.P.E.Bach, F.Kuhlau, and G.P.Telemann) and recently Flute Quartets by Mozart for Amadé Music (Belgium).  Now he resides in Brussels, Belgium. He is a co-founder and Director of the Ecole de Musique Mozart and Amadé Music Recording Label in Brussels.
